Milliea Taylor McKinney, started her adult life touching the hearts of others in early education. Later she would pursue her life long dream as a songwriter, to finally get a break with her now friend Publisher, and Record Producer Marsha Brown of Brandon Hills Music & Jandar Records.

Little did she know that her journey would land her in the lap of social consciousness in her pursuit to change the world through music and lyrics. Her quest to seek out support from those who understand the magic of music and lyrics to bring awareness to society that we need to 'stop!' to listen to what our children are hearing. 'Graphic and violent content that not only is disrespectful but also, unacceptable for today's youth says McKinney'.

What are we thinking? She asks, as parents what excuse can we possibly have that would allow us to stand idolly by and watch our children be destroyed and used by the music industry through their artist to sell and market such garbage never in music history have we ever allowed a musical virus go untreated recalls McKinney.”

Where are our leaders in the world? What about our parents, educators, and adults and social role models who define very clearly what we need in a structured society. We need to have our morals and values clearly re- defined.

Modern technology is only one resource that contributes to our underlying problems plagued and hidden in music through lyrics that clearly claim our youth in a poor attempt to call it 'a passing fad' when indeed it is a marketing scheme targeting our youth in the name of financial gain for corporate musical outlets that filter their music and lyrics out to youth knowing they will buy that which is not allowed...

So why then are America's children buying that which is not for the eyes or ears of minors who do not understand the affect or influence that music truly has on mankind?

These are questions she would love to address with those corporate leaders in the industry as well as those that run our once great country which has now fallen to her knees sickened from the shame we humanity who have the gull to call ourselves Americans.
Americans fought for the morals and values of this country we did not bow down to those that were wrong in trying to dominate or force feed us untruths. We fought for freedom to choose but those sources for which we sought had some character or positive substance to it. Never did we choose to exploit profanity and violent graphic content to our babies. We strive to protect the young from that which was not deemed appropriate for them to see or hear let alone be involved in.

Milliea's, companies does not try to violate the freedom to choose however, she does want it clearly known that her patented seal of approval for youth is but one solution in preventing our children in the world from being exposed to the thilth becoming bitten by the unknown through curiosity only to find it was not all it was cracked up to be. Only to discover their innocence had been violated and their choices had paved for them a wrong road that led them in to a dangerous highway of trouble.
Alcohol, sex, drugs, and thugging which is painted glamorous and popular or even cool is not a subject that kids should be exposed to nor should it be a subject to consider when marketing entertainment.

McKinney recalls, when families actually went to concerts and movies together because the content was acceptable for all audiences. She also recalls, when parks were full with children playing, and people were not afraid to walk home after dark. She reminds me that violence and graphic content were the least of the concerns parents were having with their teens.
What has happened, to our morals, and the values of the human mind and heart? Why are mothers not fighting for their babies, where are the fathers who are the foundation of their young men? Finally what message are our fathers giving their sons if they are abandoning them and their responsibility to both family and society?

Milliea says, it saddens my heart when I see a young girl barely 13, pregnant smoking with tattoos all over her body
cussing, with no real education or structure in her young life not knowing the obligated responsibility that goes with giving birth to a new born child. What kind of chance at life will this unborn child have? What message will this young unprepared teen give her child? What does this kind of unprepared choice do to our society?”

Milliea, points out that love is missing in the world for with love comes respect for oneself and for others. Where is the consciousness in society? More importantly where is humanities conscience?
